The First & Deputy First Minister's of Northern Ireland have solved all problems in Northern Ireland after a resoundingly successful, and inevitably expensive, trip to Cardiff. During the trip Robinson and McGuiness agreed that peace is a good thing and then got on a plane back to Belfast while passively mentioning that the PSNI aren't a bad bunch of lads either.
One must wonder what is the point? We hear of this big trip to Cardiff that will mean more 'meaningful dialogue' to help maintain 'peace' in Northern Ireland. Yet, despite this, they failed to mention the huge walls that divide Belfast & Derry, the flag protests that lost the local economies of Belfast tens of thousands or the contentious parades approaching in just a couple of months.
Instead we're told 'non violence & dialogue' is important. What does that even mean? Should I go and contact a Catholic on Twitter? Should I go and enter discussions with the Orange Order?
Once again this establishment throws about buzz words to maintain their position as the janitors of 'peace' and as usual the vast majority of the voting public in Northern Ireland clap their hands like dumb seals. What a waste of time.
